Why am I addicted to video games?
I just bought a ps3 in July 2009. Right when Modern Warfare 2 came out, I've been playing way too much. On week days I play about 2 hours and on week ends I play for about 4 hours. This is really a big problem because I used to get 90s in math and now I have gone down to the 70s. Tell me a way to get " unaddicted" . No negative comments please

Pretty much every guy loves video games right?
I'm a guy, I love video games and have been playing since I was really young, I'm 17 now still love em. I used to play Battlefield 1942 now I'm playing BFBC 2 I love the series, own them all.I also love sports and exercise, skateboarding, just having fun. So why is it that people get called a no life, nerd, loser etc for just playing video games. I have lots of friends and I'm a good guy and I hate it when some of my gamer friends get called this, I am a gamer but I don't look like one and don't play nearly as much as them but I am one. So I just wanted to know if you've been called this or told this, or if your the kind of asshole that does this.
Why are video games considered "geeky"?
Even if you think they aren't geeky, you can't deny many people look down on people who play video games. I don't sit in my house all day and play them, but I enjoy to know about all the games and play them. I still have a life other than video games. I believe they are no different than any other form of entertainment. Still people dont call you nerdy if you watch tv or movies.

What should I do about my wife's problem with video games?
When my wife, and I were dating I told her that i'm a gamer, and she didn't have a problem with it. Now that we are married she always nags me about playing video games and telling me how she doesn't want me to play them. Now I spend more than enough time with her. I usually spend a few hours a night just talking with her. Also when I ask her why me playing games bothers her she just gets upset, and won't talk to me. From the vibes I get from her I think she isn't so much mad about the time I spend on the games, as the money I spend on them. Like I said she won't directly tell me why it bothers her, so I just have to guess why. Does anyone know what I should do about this situation, and why she didn't have a problem when we were dating, but now she does?
