Does any body else hate it when people feel that they know everything about WWII because they play video games?
I hate it that almost every young teen age boy feels they are freaking experts on the Second World War just because they have played the Medal of Honor games, Call of Duty games, Brothers In Arms games, etc. Besides that they also see movies mini series like Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, and Enemy at the Gates and think they are experts. It just pisses me off that WWII has become " just a game" to so many lazy delinquents. All the youth care about is killing Nazis or Japs and seeing blood. Many youth fail to realize that WWII was a time in history where everyone including civilians at home had to make sacrifices in order to rid the world of evil. The events that occurred during WWII are terrible and sickening and should be respected.Note I am not saying that Saving Private Ryan, Band of Brothers, Enemy at the Gates, and various WWII movies do not honor the events is which they portray, I am just saying that teenagers need to open a book, read, learn and stop watching the movies for headshots and gore.

I am 20, and second year in college top school majoring in Bio chem. I have a GPA of 3.6 so far and have plans for med school. I still live at home as I am a very introverted individual and never did like the company of others. My mother believes I should be partying, drinking, going out like other " normal" 20 year olds and keeps nagging me about it. I get about 4 hours of studying 6 when a major exam is coming daily and the rest is spent on WoW and sleep. My mother thinks I have a serious problem when I don't and I am quite happy with my life. Do you think I have a problem?
